GeRSy

GeRSy is a gesture recognition system for the multi-touch table of the Telecooperation Group at the University of Technology in Darmstadt. The application receives basic touch data over the communication middleware MundoCore, recognizes gestures and merges these recognized gestures with pen data. For demonstration purpose a plugin for Google Sketchup allows navigation and manipulation of objects in 3D space.

GeRSy was developed together with Niklas Lochschmidt, Jan Riemann and Maik Thöner. It was part of the lecture Bachelorpraktikum at TU Darmstadt during the summer term 2009. The project was supervised by Jürgen Steimle.
